Invoices & payment history
Find your organisation's subscription invoices and payment history, and learn who can open the billing portal where they live.
When your organisation pays for a WAQAF plan, each charge produces an invoice and a record in your payment history. This page explains where to find those — and it's worth being clear up front: WAQAF does not keep its own list of invoices inside the dashboard. Instead, your plan and payments are handled by a secure payment provider, and your invoices live in that provider's billing portal, which you open with one button from your billing settings.
Who can do this. Opening the billing portal is reserved for the organisation owner — the person whose account the subscription is attached to. Other roles, including an admin or a Finance Manager, can see the current plan on the billing page, but the Manage billing button only works for the owner; for anyone else it returns a permission error. If you need an invoice and aren't the owner, ask whoever owns the organisation. (This is separate from your charity's own finance — donation receipts and expense vouchers are a different system entirely; see Finance.)
Where to find it. Organisation settings → Billing.
A quick word on what's where
It helps to separate two things that both involve money but are completely unrelated:
- Your charity's finances — the donations you receive and the expenses you pay out. These are recorded, receipted and reported inside WAQAF's Finance area, in Omani rial to three decimals (for example, 200.000 OMR).
- Your WAQAF subscription — what your organisation pays to use WAQAF. This is what "invoices and payment history" on this page refers to, and it lives with the payment provider, not in the Finance area.
The rest of this page is only about the second one — your subscription invoices.
Open your billing portal
Go to your organisation's billing settings
From your organisation's settings, open Billing. You'll see your current plan in a card titled Your plan, with its status (for example Active or Trialing), its price, and the features it includes.
Find the Manage billing button
On the Your plan card, look for the Manage billing button. It appears when your organisation has an active subscription. If you don't see it, either there's no subscription attached yet (you may still be on a free or trial arrangement) or your role doesn't allow it — see the note below.
Open the portal and view your invoices
Click Manage billing. WAQAF hands you over to the payment provider's secure portal, opened in the same window. There you'll find your invoices and payment history, where you can download or print each invoice, see upcoming charges, and update the card or payment method on file.
When you're finished, the portal has its own link back to WAQAF, and you'll return to where you started.
The billing portal is operated by the payment provider, not by WAQAF, so its exact layout and wording are set by them and may differ from the rest of the dashboard. Your card details are held there too — WAQAF never sees or stores your full card number.
If the button isn't there
A missing Manage billing button is almost always one of these, not a fault:
- You're not the owner. Only the organisation owner can open the portal. The plan card is still visible to admins and to finance roles, but the button is owner-only.
- There's no active subscription. The button shows once a paid subscription exists. If your organisation hasn't subscribed, or is on a plan that doesn't bill through the provider, there's nothing for the portal to show yet.
If you believe you should be the owner and still can't open it, see Members & roles to check who holds the owner role, or reach out through Getting support.
Need a copy of a specific invoice for your own accounts? Open the portal as above and download it there — WAQAF doesn't generate a separate copy inside the dashboard, so the provider's portal is the authoritative place for every subscription invoice and receipt.
